Polygon (Matic)
The first thing you need to do is add the network to your Metamask:
Network Name: Matic Network
New RPC Url: https://rpc-mainnet.matic.network
ChainID: 137
Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL: https://explorer-mainnet.maticvigil.com
Once you have the proper network you will need native MATIC in your wallet to transact. Treat MATIC the way you would treat ETH on Ethereum. This is what pays the (almost non-existent) gas fees.
